Portraits by Emma-Louise is a luxurious boutique style studio located in the heart of Cape Coral. Our goal is to make our clients feel comfortable and invited, with a bit of warmth and luxury. I am a studio portrait photographer so the majority of my sessions take place at my beautiful studio located in Cape Coral, FL. If requested I do go on location for an additional small fee. I have a few favorite locations but if you have have one in mind I am always happy to try a new place.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?
I started about 16 years ago. I was trained by the best in studio photography. I have been at my current studio location almost 2 years.
After your session is over I will go home and cull through the best of the best and edit your pictures. We will set a date about 2 to 3 weeks after your session where you will come back to the studio for your in person studio reveal. Your portraits will be presented to you with a beautiful slideshow set to music and then we will go over each individual portrait from the gallery. This gallery reveal will be your opportunity to see and feel samples of our products that you will want to showcase in your home. We'll place your order, and your portrait order will be on it's way!
I'll be here to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible, and I hope we can become close friends through it all.

WHAT AM I GETTING WITH THE SITTING FEE?
The sitting fee is a non-refundable retainer fee that ensures your spot on my calendar for your initial in-person consultation, for your photo session date itself, and for our ordering session after that! Any new props that I may need, time taking your pictures, the time I spend editing, and for certain sessions includes hair and makeup done by a local professional artist! There is no minimum order requirement.
SO ARE ANY PICTURES INCLUDED IN THE SITTING FEE?
No physical products and digitals are NOT included in the sitting fee. I am a full service photographer, which means that from beginning to end I am by your side, ensuring that our contact does not end with me editing images and just handing over digital images through the internet. I believe the portraits from your session should be displayed and kept for years and years to come; therefore, I sit down with all my clients after their session and allow them to order the prints and products that fit their needs best.
DO I GET ALL THE PHOTOS FROM MY SESSION?
No! Part of my job is the culling process of carefully going over each individual image and picking the best ones from each session. I only will show you the best of the best from your portrait session once they have been fully edited to my artistic style. Once I have put a gallery together the “out takes” have been purged.
HOW LONG DO YOU HOLD ON TO A SESSION?
You must order from your portrait session at the time of your gallery reveal. Everyone in the decision making process must be present at that meeting. For Portrait session all ordered images I hold onto for 6 months. If no order was placed the gallery is purged after 30 days. Weddings I hold the gallery for 1 (one) year.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I EXPECT TO SPEND IN PRODUCT AFTER THE SESSION?
Each order amount varies depending on client's needs/budget, but on average my clients invest between $400-$1,200 in print product during their ordering session. After seeing all their images and the high quality print and product samples I have, they can't help but want their pictures to be displayed in the best way possible!
SOME OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS OFFER A CD, WHY DON'T YOU? CAN I JUST PRINT AT A NEIGHBORHOOD LAB FOR CHEAPER?
When ordering your prints, you aren't just paying for the paper, you're paying for the artwork on the paper. I spend hours before each session getting to know my clients and putting together a mood board/shot list, to ensure that each session is unique and reflects them. Because of this, each image is a priceless moment catered to YOU, that deserves to be displayed in the best way possible. You could definitely go to someone else who offers digital images, then go to a local print shop and print your own, however, by booking with me and ordering prints through my professional lab, it is guaranteed your images will look their absolute best and no quality will be lost (which happens in many cases at local print shops). If you buy digital downloads from me I do give you recommendations for preferred labs.
WHAT IF I REALLY JUST WANT A DISC WITH MY IMAGES? DO YOU OFFER THAT?
Absolutely! For every print ordered, I give the matching, low-res digital image for online sharing. High resolution digital images with a print release are available a la carte or in certain packages, so you can definitely have your images to share on social media and with family and friends! Instead of a "Disk" I offer a UBS with the files or downloads if it's just a few if you buy a digital package.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
I most certainly do! I understand what it's like to want something but it's difficult to drop large amounts of money all at once. For orders exceeding $300, I ask for $300 down and then we can customize a payment plan that works best for you.
Portraits by Emma-Louise Policy on Cancellations and No Shows!
CANCELLATIONS Please provide at least 48 hour notice for cancellations, we will allow one reschedule. The session fee pays for time and talent. It does not include any finished portraits, unless otherwise stated. The session fee will be forfeited if a session is canceled without rescheduling or if the session has been rescheduled more than once.
NO-SHOWS will not be refunded, nor will they be rescheduled multiple times. RESCHEDULING FEES A $25 rescheduling fee will be applied to all appointments if a 48-hour notice is not given. A credit card will be put on file. If no credit card on file client will be billed for each time they No-Show. This applies to Sessions, Viewing / Ordering appointments, and Order pickups. If a client repeatedly No-Shows (two or more no shows) for a client viewing session all images will be purged and you will not be able to order images from that session, client will be billed for the client viewing time.
All cancellations and rescheduling must be made by phone or
e-mail you must have a response from Portraits By Emma-Louise LLC so you don’t get charged fees.
